AppAI Labs ("we", "us") operates the Qoves mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version

Information we collect

Facial images and face measurements

When you run a scan, the App captures your face in one of two ways: (a) a guided scan with your device's front camera takes up to five still photos (straight on, turned left, turned right, chin up, chin down); or (b) you choose photos of your face from your photo library (a front photo, optionally with left and right views). In both cases Apple's on-device Vision framework finds facial landmarks on your front photo and the App computes numeric measurements from them on your device — the landmark data never leaves it. On supported devices, Apple's on-device AI may read your front photo and measurements to write your free summary; that processing stays on your device. Nothing is sent when you scan until you have unlocked your full report (Qoves Pro) and agreed to the in-app disclosure. From then on, the photos and the computed numeric measurements from each new scan are sent automatically, over an encrypted connection, to our cloud analysis service to write that scan's full report, until you withdraw your agreement with Settings → Delete My Data (which also erases your data); the photos are not stored on our servers. We use this data solely to generate your cosmetic analysis — not for facial recognition or identification. The App does not use the TrueDepth camera or ARKit.

Earlier versions of the App. Earlier versions — the ones that ask for your agreement before your first scan — send your photos and measurements to our cloud analysis service when you finish a scan, after you agree; the photos are not stored on our servers.

Profile information. The gender, age range, and goals you select during onboarding.

Analysis results. The measurements, report text, recommendations, internal 0–100 feature scores the AI produces, routine, and timestamps generated from your scans. For a new scan, these reach our database only once you unlock its full report.

Account identifier. An anonymous identifier created by Firebase Anonymous Authentication so your data can be associated with your device. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.

Subscription status. Whether you hold an active subscription (managed through the Apple App Store and our paywall provider). We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple processes payments.
